Shane Wiskus of MHG wins P&G Championships Jr. Division, Age group 15-16

A huge congratulations goes out Shane Wiskus of Mini-Hops Gymnastics!
He recently clenched his National Title earned at the 2016 Junior Olympic Nationals, Junior Elite division, 15-16 age group in May. Now, in June, at the P&G Championships, held in St. Louis, Missouri, he did a clean sweep of his age group. The competition was held in conjunction with the Senior Men’s Olympic Trails.
Wiskus, who led day 1 by four points, had a dominant and confident day two and took home the championship with a 170.450, having a 6 point lead over Bennet Huang of Palo Alto, California/West Coast Olympic Gymnastics Academy.
This is the first win at the National Elite Championships for Minnesota since John Roethlisberger in the 1990’s. With this win, Wiskus, now earns a spot on the U.S. National Team with hopes of competing Internationally this next competitive season.
